How much does it cost to book you?
That's an impossible question to answer without knowing all the details of your event and what is required by me and possibly my team. The price will vary on things like time of day, day of the week, the location and how long you want me to perform. As I like to tailor my show to suit the event we really need to have a chat and discuss your event
How far in advance do I have to book?
Well for weddings itÕs quite normal to be booked 18 months in advance. Some Christmas bookings are made as early as January but most bookings tend to come in for the festive season after the summer holidays. The rule of thumb really is book as early as you can just to be sure, but hey cancellations do happen so even if your event is as late as the weekend its always worth asking and if I cant do your job personally as I have been in the business for over 20 years I am quite sure I know somebody who can help you out.
How long is your show?
Normally for close up mix & mingle magic or table top magic around the meal that usually lasts about 2 hours. If you are booking me for your dinner party then I may recommend my close up cabaret show which last 45 minutes. But no two shows are ever the same as I try to give you a totally unique performance tailored to your event so it may just last one hour or even two or three.
What kind of magic do you do?
I am a comedy magician, which includes amazing sleight of hand magic or a stand up cabaret show delivered with great humour ensuring every goes home happy.
Do you do childrenÕs shows?
I donÕt do childrenÕs parties as such but at weddings and house parties its not uncommon the have children in attendance. With this in mind I always try to show them some magic and make them feel involved. I am also an excellent balloon sculptor so I never mind being asked to take the children off to another room for half an hour or so the make them some marvellous balloons. It is a very large corporate event will one magician cope?
A close up magician will normally be able to get around about 10 tables / 100 guests during an average meal, so if your event is larger than this why not ask me to either bring along another fellow magician from my team or perhaps get me to work during the drinks reception.
