Last Friday I was a wedding magician at the fabulous Goodwood House in West Sussex.

What a venue! I find it hard to choose the words to sum up such a beautiful location. I have been lucky enough to attend many functions at Goodwood as I am very proud to announce that I am their number 1 magician. At weddings I generally get booked to either do walkabout magic during the drinks reception or to mingle with the guests throughout the meal as a table top magician. But this was different I was hired as a table top magician for what we call the turnaround time. This is that awkward bit after the speeches but before the first dance. This is a lovely thing to add in as it keeps the fun and excitement of the day in full flow.

Saturday I was in Wimbledon,London again as a wedding magician at the Antoinette Hotel. This was a brilliant party as we had guest from all over the world. Magic being so visual was the perfect add on to cross all language barriers.

I was in Brighton,West Sussexfor the staff party of the Hotel Du Vin group. It was a great party, all the staff from the directors down were in fancy dress! Everyone made a great effort and with me there being a table top magician needless to say we all had a great night. That was not my first staff party of the year. That was for the FJB group of hotels. They had there staff party at the beautiful sandbanks hotel. At that party I was more of a close up magician than a table top performer.

I am still doing my charity work with an event for the Stroke club, every year I do them an hours cabaret magic which I must say I really look forward too. They are a lovely bunch in Romsey so if you know anyone in the area who has had the misfortune of having a stroke I would urge you to get along to club.
